Accessibility statement

For us, hospitality begins long before you arrive at the Dimora: it begins with the first page you open to get to know us. That is why we want www.itrebacili.it to be welcoming to every guest, including people with disabilities and those who browse with assistive technologies.

This statement applies to www.itrebacili.it, in both its Italian and English versions.

A voluntary choice

Since 28 June 2025, the European Accessibility Act (EU Directive 2019/882, transposed into Italian law by Legislative Decree 82/2022) has required many businesses to make their digital services accessible. Given its size and structure, I Tre Bacili is not among the businesses that the law requires to comply.

We have nonetheless chosen to follow its principles, taking the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1, level AA) as our reference. We do so by choice, because it feels like the most natural way to understand hospitality: the same care we give to those who stay with us, we want to give to those who visit us online. Here we share, openly, where we stand.

Where we stand

The website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 level AA: most content is accessible, with the exceptions listed below.

What we have improved

In October 2026 we carefully reviewed the website, starting with the details that matter most to our visitors:

• the outline of links and buttons is clearly visible when navigating with the keyboard
• the menu button has a name that screen readers can announce, and it opens and closes with the keyboard
• the photo carousels that scroll automatically now have a Pause button
• the headings and buttons have stronger colour contrast, making them easier to read
• the links within text are underlined
• the images come with alternative text that describes it
• the pages can be freely zoomed on smartphones and tablets.

What we are still working on

Some content is not yet fully accessible:

• Press coverage: the articles are PDF copies of the original publications and may not be readable with screen readers. If you are interested in an article, we can send you its text
• Contact page: we are completing some fixes to the contact form. In the meantime you can reach us by email, WhatsApp or phone
• Our Partners' services: the booking engine (Slope), the Instagram feed, the chat assistant and the cookie consent banner are provided by external companies. They are not directly under our control, but we report any issues we find to the providers.

How this statement was prepared

We prepared this statement on 28 October 2026, based on a review carried out by the website provider using automated tools and manual checks (keyboard navigation, colour contrast). We will review it at least once a year and whenever the website changes significantly.
